The boiling point is the temperature at which the brake fluid starts to boil or become vapor. DOT specifies a dry and wet boiling point.I was thinking the SUPER DOT 4 had a higher boiling point, but they both had the exact same (509 degrees F). So just out of curiosity, does anyone know the difference between SUPER DOT 4 and LV? While I bled the oil fluid out, some remnants of the Super remained mixed in the with the fresh LV.
